A Broken Paradelle

A Broken Paradelle

Never drop a glass vase on the pavement
Never drop a glass vase on the pavement
Or else the flowers will die in your care
Or else the flowers will die in your care
The pavement will die, or else your care
Never on a drop in the glass vase flowers.

The red bowl will shatter if you hit it
The red bowl will shatter if you hit it
Across the table and off of the ledge
Across the table and off of the ledge
If the ledge hit it across and off,
You will shatter the table of the red bowl.

Always hold your hot mug with two hands
Always hold your hot mug with two hands
Otherwise it may fall and crack open
Otherwise it may fall and crack open
Open hands hold hot with two, always
It may otherwise crack your mug and fall.

Never hold your pavement, your hot mug
A vase may otherwise shatter, else, if you care
The flowers fall across it and die red
Will the glass with two hands on drop,
Or will the bowl in the table crack
Always hit it open and off of the ledge.

For this paradelle, I focused on things that could break. This is why I picked a bowl, a mug, and a vase. This made it easy to include imagery in my poem.
